Potato cake with a turkey roll
Boil jacket potatoes. After boiling, peel the potatoes and mash them adding butter and a pinch of salt. Separate the whites from the yolks and beat them into a stiff foam. Combine the potatoes with yolks to form a smooth mass and add whites foam.
Spread a heatproof dish thickly with butter. At the bottom, put half the portion of potato cake. Then put the rolls. Add the rest of the potato cake on the top and sides.
Bake in oven at 170°C for about an hour until there’s a crispy crust on top.
Serve with homemade garlic sauce and new potatoes.
