Beef Caesar rolls with red cabbage and Silesian dumplings

Difficulty:
Preparing:

Chop the onion finely and fry it until dark color. At the end of frying, sprinkle it with two teaspoons of wheat flour. Keep stirring until roux is dark. Pour one glass of beef broth. Mix thoroughly and bring to the boil. Blend sauce to a homogenous mass. Simmer, adding allspice, bay leaf, salt and pepper. Add the rolls to the sauce and cook until tender.

Put the Silesian dumplings with a hole in the boiling salt water and cook for about 4–5 minutes. Strain the dumplings and put on a plate.

Chop the red cabbage into thin strips and pour with boiling water. Add a pinch of salt, a tablespoon of sugar and vinegar. Simmer for 2–3 minutes. Strain the cabbage and put into a frying pan, with previously dissolved small amount of butter (about 1 tablespoon). Add salt, sugar and lemon juice from 1 lemon. Grate half an apple on thick mesh and fry until tender.

Such prepared components can be now served. Put the dumplings on a plate, cut the roll in half. Poured the prepared sauce on the dish. Serve with warm red cabbage salad. Sprinkle with green parsley.

We recommend a multi-fruit compote made of strawberries, cherries, currants and plums.

Enjoy your meal!
