Turkey rolls with mashed potatoes,
mushroom sauce and carrots with peas
Put 1 tablespoon of butter and finely chopped onion into a saucepan. Fry it until it’s glazed. In the meantime, chop the mushrooms. Add the mushrooms to the onion and stew everything together until tender. Add the sweet cream and salt and pepper. Blend the sauce and bring to the boil. Add the rolls to reheat them.
At the same time, peel the potatoes, chop and put in a pot. Pour water, add some salt and cook. When the potatoes are boiling, pour 2 — 3 tablespoons of cream and a nutmeg grated on a grater. Thoroughly mash the potatoes to obtain a homogeneous mass.
Put the carrot and peas in the pot and pour some water in such a way as not to exceed the surface of the vegetables. Add some salt and sugar. Cook for 5–7 min. from the moment of boiling. During this time, prepare 1/3 glass of water with 1 flat spoon of wheat flour. When the carrots with peas are ready, pour a slurry of flour and water into it and boil until the sauce thickens. Add spices. Serve the dish on a plate.
We recommend strawberry compote for drinking. Put 500 g frozen strawberries in the pot, add 250 g of sugar and pour 2 liters of cold water. Cook for 15–20 minutes.
